Product Design and Development
- Generate new and/or improved designs from fist principles, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), material analysis in line with an approved and accepted process.
- Carry out classification of characteristics.
- Choice narrowing concept design and development.
- Structural strength and dynamic calculations.
- Perform functional analysis using results from dynamic and FEM analysis.
- Optimize system performance by performing a mass and energy balances analysis/calculations.
- Research and Development (R&D).
- Perform feasibility studies.
- New and/or improved designs are done taking into account manufacturing processes and cost.
- Generate and/or edit manufacturing drawings and design reports
- Generate and co-ordinate the system engineering baselines to keep the client involved throughout the development of the system until handover.

- Third party’s mechanical structures design approval (Pr.Eng.)
- Design verification services.
- Mechanical structures failure investigation
- Provide a professional engineering service on improved and new designs in line with approved and accepted processes and relevant standards i.e. SANS, ASME, ISO and other related international standards.
Support Function
- Support in test planning and execution.
- Support in manufacturing of hardware.
- Support in generation of product quality plan (PQP)
- Support in test management and reporting.
- Support electrical and electronics specialists during integration of the system
